Courtney Brims is a Brisbane-based artist/illustrator and one of my favourite artists. Her work is inspired by the likes of Roald Dahl, Tim Burton, the Grimm Brothers and Victorian illustrations. She juxtaposes imagery in such a magical way with incredible detail and thought. You’ll find one of her beautiful illustrations published in the latest Curvy 2009 Edition [Issue #6] and the previous edition [Issue #5].
