meet luis tinoco

Luis Tinoco studied graphic design in Barcelona before working as an art director and commercial illustrator for some major international clients, ranging from Rimmel to Top Magazine UK. Tinoco’s vivid watercolour strokes and photo montage is so distinctive in style across his magazine commissions, it comes as a pleasant surprise to see a delightful 1950’s retro influence in his childrens’ book illustrations.

T-post takes multifunctional design to the next level by combining two of my favourite things – magazines and clothing. They have produced a wearable magazine, thus evolving the definition of visual communication design. Every five weeks they release a new ‘issue’ in t-shirt format with a news story on the inside and an artist’s interpretation of the story on the front. How clever is that?
